Morning Departure
Our journey begins with an early departure from Cusco, setting out to explore the South Valley’s wonders. The first stop is Tipon, where we’ll spend approximately 1 hour. Here, marvel at the intricate Inca irrigation systems that showcase advanced ancient engineering. Wander through terraced fields that continue to flourish.
Exploring Pikillaqta
We’ll venture to the archaeological site of Pikillacta. The exploration of the archaeological site takes around 45 minutes. This pre-Inca Wari culture relic beholds expansive ruins. Our knowledgeable guides will share information about the history of the site.
Andahuaylillas Church Visit
The final leg of our tour takes us to the Andahuaylillas Church. This Site known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas.” The visitor will spend about 30 minutes admiring the 16th-century church’s artwork.
