04:00 AM     Embark from Cusco

Your adventure begins early, with a 4:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Cusco. The journey to the train station takes about 2 hours. Here, you’ll board the Peru Rail, embarking on a scenic 1:30 minutes train ride to Aguas Calientes. The ride itself is an experience, offering stunning views of the Andean landscape and Urubamba River.

 

07:30 AM     Arrival in Aguas Calientes

By 7:30 AM, you arrive in Aguas Calientes. Here, you’ll have a short break to grab a quick bite or explore the town. At 8:00 AM, you’ll catch the bus to Machu Picchu. This 30-minute ride snakes up the mountain, offering spectacular views.

 

08:30 AM     Exploring Machu Picchu

You reach the iconic Inca citadel by 8:30 AM. Your guided tour begins immediately, lasting about 2 to 3 hours. Your guide will lead you through the main sites, including the Sun Gate and the Room of the Three Windows.

After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to explore on your own or take those coveted photos. This is your chance to soak in the energy of this ancient site, with two hours to wander.

 

02:00 PM     Return to Cusco

By 2:00 PM, it’s time to head back to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included in the tour price). At 4:00 PM, you’ll board the return train to Cusco. By 7:00 PM, you’re back in Cusco, dropped off at your hotel.
